Tours and tasting begin in our Tasting Room under the giant Kenzinger K
Step up to the bar and start your tasting! Every Saturday between 12:00 noon and 3:00pm you can sample one of each of the brewery-fresh beers we have on offer.
The brewing process begins in the mill room where malted barley and specialty grains are weighed and milled into grist then transferred into our mash tun.
Our tour guide, David (fearless leader of the Fishtown Beer Runners), will tell you about how we make sugary wort out of starch in our mash tun.
The sugary mash liquid, wort, is transferred into our kettle where hops, herbs, and spices are added and it is all boiled before being fermented.
The boiled wort is cooled and transferred into one of these fermentors where our yeast is waiting to ferment sugars into alcohol and CO2.
The finished beer is put into bottles and kegs.
